Gocycle GS

FREE Lock Holster Kit worth £100 with a GS purchase

The Gocycle GS is the new model that Gocycle developed via a very successful Kickstarter campaign. The goal was to take the G3 concept and make it more affordable, while keeping as many of the original features as possible. The result is a bike that looks almost identical at first sight and is as good to ride, but which retails for £2,499 – £1,000 less than the G3.

GS main features

The GS is just as lightweight and fun to ride. The major components of the frame, pitstop wheels and motor are the same. All the Gocycle accessories fit the bike, like the commuter pack with mudguard and lights, front pannier, etc. It is also configurable using the smartphone app to set it up the motor assist and provide a handlebar mounted display while riding.

The GS difference

So what makes it a different bike to it’s sibling the G3? You’re losing surprisingly little, which is what makes the bike such great value. And you’re gaining a two tone colour scheme. Here are the changes:

  • Mechanical gear shifting instead of electronic
  • No LED display on the handlebars or daytime running light
  • External cabling to the handlebars and motor
  • 7 hour charge time with optional 3.5 hour charger as separate purchase
  • Fixed height height handlebars
  • Standard grips instead of ergonomic grips
  • Sport saddle instead of comfort

Trips by rail are easy with the Gocycle
